IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING REHEARSALS AND THE SHOW

All performers MUST attend all rehearsals. No exceptions.

  • We are committed to making this show an amazing experience for your child.

  • Be sure to rehearse and be ready to perform at the Dress Rehearsal. We want everyone to have plenty of time on the stage to run their act. The better prepared you are, the more time your child will have.

  • Designate a parent to supervise, be the Contact, and be present for all rehearsals.

  • In order to make the Dress (Tech) Rehearsal run as efficiently as possible, the Dress Rehearsal will be divided into two rehearsal blocks: Group A and Group B. Each act is ONLY REQUIRED to be present during their group time.

  • Each act will be assigned their group time after registrations are turned in.

  • Because of the size and scope of the number of acts, we will try, but cannot guarantee, requests to be placed in either group A or B. Thank you for your understanding.

  • As we’re sure you can appreciate, in order for everyone to be completely prepared, performers need to be present at all rehearsals. This will allow them to be comfortable on the stage, familiarize themselves with the music and lights, and the logistics of entering and exiting the stage in the order of the show.

  • Once the act is done with tech, they may leave.

If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail the Variety Show Chairs Ania Komisarek, Carolina Castellano and Jessie Spain (variety@westschoolptc.org).
