How Do We Raise Funds For West?

 

 

 

The West School PTC spends $280 per student annually. This money goes towards programs, resources and school improvements that go beyond the school's regular budget.

 

From school supplies to spirit wear, your everyday purchases and participation help support our students.

 

Here’s how our PTC raises funds throughout the year:

 

PTC Membership 👥

Your annual $30 membership fee supports the PTC and gives you access to the school directory.

 

School Supplies ✏️

Ordering through our school supply program makes back-to-school shopping easier while helping raise funds for West. Order forms for next school year will be sent out in the Spring/Summer.

 

WestFest Capital Campaign 💚

Held each fall, WestFest is our largest fundraiser and the only time we ask West families for a one time direct donation.

 

Spirit Wear 👕

Show your West pride while giving back! Once production costs are covered, proceeds support PTC programs and resources for our students.

 

We introduce a fresh assortment at the start of each school year and currently sell in person at these events:

  • Meet the teacher - Grades 1-4 (end of August)
  • Meet the teacher - Kindergarten (end of August) 
  • Open House - Grades K, 1 & 2 (September)
  • Open House - Grades 3 & 4 (September) 
  • Welcome Back PTC Coffee (September)
  • Class Holiday parties - all grades (December) 
  • Incoming Kindergarten Orientation (May)

Book Fair 📚

Discover new favorites and support West through our annual Book Fair!

  • Class visits: Each class will have a scheduled shopping time. A parent is welcome to join their student to browse and shop.
  • Family Night: All West families are invited to shop together! More details will follow in the spring.
  • Volunteer: An April sign-up will offer opportunities to help with setup, breakdown, restocking, and supporting students during shopping hours.
