Where Do Funds Go?

 

The West School PTC spends over $250 PER STUDENT on programs and physical improvements beyond classroom instruction to enrich West School's facilities and curriculum. 

 

WHERE DO FUNDS RAISED GO?

Funds raised provide support in one of three general ways throughout the year.

 

Curriculum Support:

  • STEM school assemblies and programs to inspire the inventor in each child
  • Field trips for 1st - 4th grades that bring social studies and science to life
  • Performing arts performances to spark creativity
  • Author visits to fuel a lifelong interest in reading and writing
  • Replenished recess and gym equipment utilized by all 400+ West students
  • Wobble chairs and other sensory and kinesthetic furniture for classrooms
  • STEM bins for use during indoor recess and other STEM learning experiences
