Help Support the Build of the West School GaGa Ball Pit
This summer, New Canaan High School Junior, Jonathan Case, is taking on a special project for West Elementary as his Eagle Scout service project: a permanent GaGa Ball Pit for the school playground. We're not quite there yet, but with your help, West will soon be the proud home of a brand-new pit.
If you haven't played, GaGa Ball is a fast-paced favorite, a gentler cousin of dodgeball played inside a waist-high octagonal pit. Players use their hands to tap a ball and get others out below the knee. It's all quick reactions, movement, and a little strategy: inclusive, endlessly fun, and perfect for recess.
Jonathan and his fellow Scouts will build and install the pit themselves as their service project. Your gift goes toward the materials that make it possible. The West School PTC has contributed $4,000, and we're hoping to help Jonathan reach the remainder of his materials goal: $3,900 by June 30.
As a thank-you, every West family donor is invited to a Grand Opening Popsicle Preview Party this summer. Details announced at a future date.

Jonathan Case is currently an active member of Troop 70 New Canaan and has been in Scouting since 2nd grade. He is now taking the final steps toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout and is working on completing his Eagle Scout project. As part of this achievement, Jonathan is leading an Eagle Scout service project to benefit West Elementary and the community by constructing a new GaGa Ball pit. The project will provide a fun spot for West Elementary students and New Canaan families to enjoy. Jonathan is currently raising funds to help cover the cost of materials and construction. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to service reflect the values he has developed throughout his years in Scouting, and we are proud to support him as he works toward this significant milestone.
